OpenSwarm at Latinoware, Brazil
Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil: Inria researcher Geovane Fedrecheski presented the DotBots and the OpenSwarm Testbed at Latinoware, the 22nd Latin American Congress on Free Software and Open Technologies. It took place at Itaipu Parquetec, the technological park of the Itaipu Dam, the world’s largest hydroeletric powerplant in terms of clean energy generation. Co-located with Itaipu Parquetec, is UNILA, the Federal University of Latin-American Integration.
The participation in the event included both a talk and a booth exposition. Over three days, the OpenSwarm technologies were presented to hundreds of students, teachers, researchers, and entrepreneurs from several Brazilian states and also from neighboring countries, such as Paraguay.
