Roderich Gross is a senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield and a professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

Within the OpenSwarm project, he is leading the team in Sheffield. They are seeking novel ways to program swarms that must comply with some specific constraints related for instance to safety or energy-awarness.
