Siemens Portugal is joining the OpenSwarm consortium to strengthen Siemens‘ involvement in security, e-mobility, and embedded technology fields. The Lisbon site, through Siemens Portugal, will focus on developing safety solutions for embedded systems, including wearable devices and critical monitoring systems for the protection of people (PoC4: industrial safety/health).
Siemens Portugal will collaborate closely with Siemens‘ E-Mobility unit, specialized in electric charging infrastructure, to integrate these technologies into several use cases (PoC1, PoC4, PoC5). This partnership will increase the impact of the projects, benefiting from geographical proximity and collaboration with other Portuguese partners like Ingeniarius.
